Marianne Khoury

Marianne Khoury is a Cairo based filmmaker and producer, known for her close collaboration with the iconic filmmaker Youssef Chahine. She has produced among 30 of Chahine’s films, winning prizes internationally. In 2010 she directed the documentary Zelal about mental health issues, which was shown at the Venice Film Festival and in Dubai where it won the FIPRESCI prize.
